  • FTBI conducted Innovation Carnival 2022 on the 18th and 19th of November 2022.

  • FTBI conducted a start-up ecosystem meet on 22nd September 2022, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY).

  • On 26th August 2022, FTBI-NITR organized a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). This offline workshop was sponsored by the Department of Science and technology, the Government of India. 

  • FTBI has organized MeitY sponsored 3-days workshop(3rd to 5th August 2022) on “3D Printers and PCB Milling Machines” for incubated startups. Shri Deepak Kumar Nayak (Director, MSME Rourkela) graced the program as the Chief Guest and interacted with the team of 20 startups from FTBI-NITR.

  • FTBI organized a 3-day hands-on workshop (8th to 10th May 2022) on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning” for class VIII & IX students from different schools located in Rourkela.Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra (Commissioner, Rourkela Municipal Corporation) graced the event as the Chief Guest. Prof. K Umamaheshwar Rao (Director, NITR and Chairman, FTBI), Shri Siddharth Kocher (MD, Utkal Engineers Pvt Ltd) and Dr. Debayan Sarkar (Head of Centre, FTBI) also graced the inauguration ceremony as Guest of Honor.

  • FTBI, NIT Rourkela organized a seminar cum workshop at FTBI Smart seminar hall, Sponsored by MCL, in collaboration with Biotez Agrinovation Pvt. Ltd. The concerned seminar and workshop, titled ‘Advanced Innovation and Opportunities in Agri-Tech Entrepreneurship’, is to be conducted from 5th-7th May 2022.
