National Institute of Technology Rourkela’s (NIT-R) Foundation for Technology and Business Incubation (FTBI) centre has selected two start-ups, Yarev Technology Pvt. Ltd. & Clavictor Academy Pvt. Ltd., with innovative approaches for the betterment of society at large.

Over 7,000 Cash-Starved Start-Ups may benefit from Angel Tax Relief

A series of changes made to the so-called angel tax by the government could give wing to 7,000 cash-starved start-ups, sources in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said.

According to industry observers, an investment of around $12 billion might come from 2,000 angel investors and hundreds of smaller backers of start-ups by the end of the year. Of this, about $7 billion will come in the form of corporate investment.

7th Odisha MSME International Trade Fair-2019 going on in January to 3rd February, 2019 

The 7th Odisha MSME International Trade Fair-2019 is scheduled to be held during 28th January to 3rd February, 2019 at IDCO Exhibition Ground, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar. Companies / entrepreneurs from foreign countries as well as MSMEs from across India shall be invited to participate in the fair. The exhibition would endeavor to bring all the potential buyers and sellers to a single platform with an objective to provide opportunity to MSMEs for display and sale of their products. This fair will also be a platform for vendor development and matchmaking of products with large industries. During the trade fair networking opportunities like one to one meeting (B2B, B2C & B2G) with enterprises shall be provided to exhibitors.
